The idea to modify a motorcycle was born long time ago, but to be frankly, I wasn't
the one who chop it up like slicing in the meat so, like always, I added new elements
and I didn't touch the structure.
In the autumn of 2008 I took advantage of the opportunity to buy a Yamaha YZF600R
Thundercat and I decided to put my plan in to practice. I work for 4 month, not
daily, on the motorcycle with a member of Urban Moto Club called BIBI. Slowly the
Beast take form and life and now when we compare this two motorcycle, the new one
and "the autumn" one, we are agree that is totally different. I completely modify
the back of the bike, the frame and the back wing manually manufactured. The back
wing is made by fiber glass. Petrol tank is completely restored. The bug spoiler
and headlight mask is also made from fiber glass. I have changed the brake line
and I added a Dynojet kit. The back pinion has now 68 teeth instead of 14 teeth,
I have to mount the crash cage and the wheel bar awaiting to be fitted. The painting
was made by a very good friend and a real artist called Cicioc. This is the result,
I hope you like it.
Now I'm more courageous so I started to modify a Suzuki GSXR for member club. At
the end you'll see the result. Dry Asphalt and take care on curves!!
